About SPC Connect panel authorisation modes

A Panel Manager can set the authorisation mode for a panel. The authorisation mode can be different on each panel. There are two authorisation modes:

• Automatically authorize user on panel – If this mode is selected, then when a system user registers a panel, the user can automatically access the panel remotely: explicit authorisation from a Panel Manager is not required. This is the default authorisation mode.

• Manually authorize user on panel – A Panel Manager receives email notification when a system user registers the panel. The Authorization State for the Standard User is set to Waiting for Standard User Approval until a Panel Manager on that panel authorises the request.
