Each SPC configuration file is compatible with a specific version of SPC firmware. This procedure describes how to upgrade the firmware version of a configuration file using SPC Connect Pro.

SPC Connect Pro enables you to view/edit panel configuration files compatible with a firmware version of 3.8.5 or later. |
Click Offline Configuration in the SPC Connect Pro navigation.
The Offline SPC Panel Config files page appears.
Select the required panel from the drop-down list at the top of the page.
A list of the configuration file backups for the selected panel appears.
Click SPC Config Details 
for the configuration file you want to upgrade.
On the SPC Config File Details page click Upgrade.
On the Upgrade Config Firmware page, select a New Config Firmware Version and click Upgrade Config.

If the firmware version of your configuration file and panel do not match, only the compatible configuration settings are applied. Deprecated or new settings not recognised by the current panel firmware are ignored. |
