To display the Offline Configuration Editor page, click View / Edit for a panel on the Offline Configuration page (see The Offline SPC Panel Config files page).
The Offline Configuration Editor shows the panel web interface configuration screens that are compatible with the configuration file firmware version. It enables you to make configuration changes locally, and to send saved configuration files to the panel when you are ready.
You must click Save in the Offline Configuration Editor to update the local configuration file on your PC with your changes. The panel is not updated until you click Send this configuration file to the SPC Panel |
The Offline Configuration Editor page shows:
Send this configuration file to the SPC Panel |
Click to update the panel with the saved configuration file. |
Add Config File to Favourites |
Click to add the saved configuration file to the Favourites list in SPC Connect Pro (see The Favourites page). |
Close connection |
Click to close the Offline Configuration Editor and return to the Offline Configuration page. Ensure you have saved all changes before closing the Offline Configuration Editor. |
Panel details |
The panel name and firmware version read from the configuration file are shown at the top of the page. The following icon indicates that you are editing offline: |
Panel web interface |
The panel configuration details are displayed in the Offline Configuration Editor. Make any required changes. When you click Save in the Offline Configuration Editor, your changes are saved to the configuration file in SPC Connect Pro. Note: The panel web interface on the Offline Configuration Editor page is shown in your preferred language for the SPC Connect Pro interface.
