The Edit Network Settings page

To display the Edit Network Settings page, click Edit Network Settings for a panel on the Panel Discovery page (see The Panel Discovery page).

On the Edit Network Settings page, you can configure the following options for a panel:

Panel Information

IP Address

Displays the IP address for the panel. You can edit this value.

If you change the IP address, when you click Save the panel is updated with the new IP address. Ensure that the new IP address is valid and available before saving.

Note: If this panel is in your Local Panels list, you must update the value on the Installation Details page or you will not be able to establish a connection to the panel from the Local Panels page.

Netmask

Displays the subnet mask for the panel. You can edit this value.

Gateway

Displays the gateway for the panel. You can edit this value.

DNS

Displays the DNS server for the panel. You can edit this value.

DHCP Enabled

Select this check box if DHCP is enabled.

If DHCP is enabled, the above fields are hidden: values are obtained automatically from the DHCP server.

SPC Connect Pro in the panel (This area only appears for panels with firmware version 3.8.5 and later. Changes are saved to the panel when you click Save.)

Enabled

Select this check box if the panel supports connections from SPC Connect Pro.

Ethernet Enabled

Select this check box if SPC Connect Pro can connect to the panel using ethernet.

TCP Port

Enter the TCP port on which the panel listens to incoming connections from SPC Connect Pro.

Serial Enabled

Select this check box if SPC Connect Pro can connect to the panel using a serial connection.

USB Enabled

Select this check box if SPC Connect Pro can connect to the panel using a USB connection.

Modem Enabled

Select this check box if SPC Connect Pro can connect to the panel using a modem connection.
