Add wireless output

Add Outputs

To add a wireless output:

  1. Scroll to WIRELESS > OUTPUTS > ADD and press OK.

    A menu of enrolment options opens. Options are:

    • ENROL

    • TAMPER ENROL

    • ACTIVATE ENROL

  2. Scroll to your desired option and press OK.

    The display flashes the text ENROL DEVICE.

  3. Activate the wireless device by inserting the battery/batteries to allow the keypad receiver to detect the wireless transmission of the device.

    When the device has been detected the text FOUND OUTPUT is displayed on the keypad. The device ID, TYPE, and SIGNAL information is displayed beneath FOUND OUTPUT.

  4. Press OK.

    A prompt to describe the output is displayed. Enter a short text description and press OK.

  5. Select the BELL TYPE and press OK.

  6. Select the AREA and press OK.

Edit Output details

You can change some of the details and settings for an output.

To change the details or settings of a wireless output:

  1. Scroll to EDIT and press OK.

  2. Scroll to the output to be changed and press OK.

    You can change the following:

    DESCRIPTION A short text description to aid in identifying the output.
    BELL Internal or External bell
    VOLUME Set the volume of the bell from evel 1 (lowest) to level 4 (highest)
    AREA Set the Area for the output
    TAMPER OPTION Set the Tamper option to TAMPER, TROUBLE, or IGNORE
Edit Output (Zone Assignment)

It may be necessary to change the zone assignment of a sensor enrolled on the system.

To change the zone assignment of a wireless output:

  1. Scroll to EDIT and press OK.

  2. Scroll to the sensor to be changed and press OK.

  3. Scroll to ZONE and press OK.

  4. Scroll to the appropriate zone number (only unoccupied zone numbers are displayed) and press OK.
