The Add/Edit Panel User Profile page
To display the Add/Edit Panel User Profile page, click Edit beside an existing profile, or click Add Panel User Profile on the Panel User Profiles page (see The Panel User Profiles page).
The Add/Edit Panel User Profile page displays the following fields:
General Settings |

User Profile ID |
A unique ID to identify the user profile on the system. You can change the system-generated ID when creating a new profile, but the ID cannot be edited later. |
User Profile Name |
The name of the user profile. This value is editable. |
Areas |
A list of the areas to which users with this profile have access. If the areas list is collapsed, click the Select the check box for each area to which users with this profile should have access, and de-select the check box for each area to which they should not have access. |
Calendar |
Select a calendar to set the time limitations of this profile on the system. See http://van.fyi?Link=SPCpanelIG for more information on configuring calendars. |
User Rights |
Select each right users with this profile should have. Rights are categorised into the following types:

Access Control If this section is collapsed, click the |

Site Code |
Enter a site code, if required, for all cards assigned to this user profile. See http://van.fyi?Link=SPCpanelIG for more information on site codes. |
Door Access List |
Displays a list of the doors on the system, and the access rights to each door for users with this profile. To change access rights for a door, select a new value from the drop-down list. Options are:

Users Using this User Profile |
Displays a list of panel users using this profile. If this section is collapsed, click the Click a username to see details of that user on the Edit Panel User page. See The Add/Edit Panel User page. Note: You cannot view/edit the details of the SPC Connect User (listed if an installer created this user) or the panel user account used to authenticate when connecting to the panel (see The Change Panel Connection Details page). |
