The Panel Users page

To display the Panel Users page for a panel:

  1. Click Panels in the SPC Connect menu.

  2. On the List of Panels page, click Edit   beside the panel of interest.

  3. Click Panel Users in the site navigation.

Note:You will only see this page if your panel is managed by an installation company, and the SPC user account used to connect to the panel has rights to view and edit panel users. If there are no users registered on the panel, or if the user credentials for the panel connection do not have user management rights, you will see an error message on this page.

The Panel Users page displays a list of all users registered to this panel, and the following information for each user:

User

Displays the user ID for this user.

User Image

Displays the user image for this user.

Name

Displays the user name for this user.

Custom Search Fields

Displays custom keywords specified for this user on the Add/Edit Panel User page. See The Add/Edit Panel User page.

Card Number

Displays the access card number for this user.

SMS

Displays whether this user has an SMS number configured. For information on how to add an SMS number for a user, see http://van.fyi?Link=SPCpanelIG.

RFFOB

Displays whether this user has a Fob.

Pace

Displays whether this user has a Pace.

User Profiles

Displays a list of the user profiles for this user. Click a user profile name to see details of that profile on the Edit Panel User Profile page. See The Add/Edit Panel User Profile page.

Note: You cannot view/edit the profile used by the panel user account used to connect to the panel.

Create SPC Connect Account  

Click to open a page where you can create an SPC Connect account for this panel user. See The Create SPC Connect Account page.

Note: This option is disabled for the panel user account used to authenticate when connecting to the panel (see The Change Panel Connection Details page). It is also disabled if an SPC Connect account already exists for the panel user.

Change PIN/Web Password  

Click to open a page where you can change the user's PIN/web password. See The Change Panel User PIN/Web Password page.

Note: This option is disabled for the panel user account used to authenticate when connecting to the panel (see The Change Panel Connection Details page).

Edit Panel User  

Click to open a page where you can edit the details of this panel user. See The Add/Edit Panel User page.

Note: This option is disabled for the panel user account used to authenticate when connecting to the panel (see The Change Panel Connection Details page). If necessary, you can edit this user through the panel keypad or panel web interface. See http://van.fyi?Link=SPCpanelIG for more information.

Delete Panel User  

Click to delete this panel user.

Note: This option is disabled for the panel user account used to authenticate when connecting to the panel (see The Change Panel Connection Details page).

Click Add Panel User to open a page where you can add a new panel user. See The Add/Edit Panel User page and Manage the panel users on a panel.

Click Import Panel Users to open a page where you can import panel user details from an XML file. See The Import Panel Users page and Manage the panel users on a panel.

Click Export Panel Users to export details of currently configured panel users. The export function generates a .zip file containing an XML file and a corresponding Microsoft® Excel template file (.xlsm format).
