The Panel Connect page
To display the Panel Connect page, click Connect for a panel on the Local Panels page (see The Local Panels page).
When SPC Connect Pro connects to a panel, it compares the current panel serial number to the latest serial number stored in SPC Connect Pro. If the serial number is different, you are prompted to confirm whether you want to proceed. You should ensure that you are connected to the expected hardware before continuing or you may overwrite configuration on the wrong panel. Seeing a different serial number could indicate that you have connected to the wrong panel (for example, if you connected a USB cable to the wrong panel, or if an IP address was reassigned to a different panel at an installation site), or it could indicate that a panel was replaced (for example, due to a fault or a hardware upgrade). |

Backup the configuration of the SPC Panel to SPC Connect Pro |
Click to save the panel configuration from the panel to SPC Connect Pro. |
Upload a logo to the SPC Panel |
Click to open a window where you can browse to and select a logo to display on keypads connected to the panel. The logo must be a black and white bitmap with dimensions 128x45px. |
Upload an audio bundle to the SPC Panel |
Click to open a window where you can browse to and select an audio bundle (for example, Danish.rec) to upload to the panel. SPC Connect Pro includes default audio bundles in core languages. Audio bundles include messages that can be played to users interacting with keypads connected to the panel. Note: Audio bundles are only supported by Compact and Comfort keypads. Panel web interface |
The panel web interface is displayed within SPC Connect Pro. Make any required changes, clicking Save regularly to update the panel with your edits. Note: The panel web interface on the Panel Connect page is shown in the preferred language for the engineer account used to access the panel from SPC Connect Pro. See SPC 4xxx/5xxx/6xxx Installation & Configuration Manual for more information on configuring and managing a panel through the panel web interface. |
