The SPC Config File Details page

To display the SPC Config File Details page, click SPC Config Details   for a configuration file on the Offline SPC Panel Config files page or the Favourites page.

The SPC Config File Details page shows:

Configuration Description and Notes

Config File Name

Displays the name of the configuration file. You can edit this label.

Config File Description

Displays a description of the configuration file. This description appears on the Offline SPC Panel Config files page. You can edit this text to add useful, identifying information about this configuration file.

Firmware Version

Displays the firmware on the panel at the time the configuration file was created. The value is not editable.

Panel Details (This area only appears when the SPC Config File Details page is accessed from the Offline SPC Panel Config files page)

Panel Name

Displays the panel name entered on the Installation Details page.

Panel Address

Displays the panel address entered on the Installation Details page.

Config File Details

SPC Config Timestamp

Displays the date and time that the configuration file was saved. The value is not editable.

SPC Config CRC

Displays the CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) or check value for the saved file. This value is not editable.

The CRC number is generated automatically based on the contents of the configuration file. If you believe two versions of a configuration file for a panel are identical, compare this number for each file: if it is the same, this confirms that the versions are identical.

SPC Config Size (Bytes)

Displays the size of the configuration file in bytes. The value is not editable.

Login Credentials

Engineer Username

Engineer Password

Enter the panel engineer credentials required to open and decrypt the file (the engineer credentials at the time the configuration file was saved).

Note: If you apply this configuration file to another panel, the engineer credentials on that panel are set to those from the configuration file.

Configuration Export

Save SPC Config File

Click SPC Config File to save the configuration file to your local PC.

Note: Due to operating system limitations, this option will not appear on Windows 7. If this option is not available, you can save the configuration file by connecting to the panel (click Connect   for the panel on the Local Panels page), and downloading the configuration file through the panel web interface (under File > File Manager). Favourite Configuration Files

Add Config File to Favourites

Click Add to Favourites to add this configuration file to your list on the Favourites page. See The Favourites page for more information. This option is not shown if the configuration file is already listed on the Favourites page.

Configuration File Firmware

Upgrade Config Firmware

Click Upgrade Config to upgrade the configuration file to match a later version of panel firmware. On the Upgrade Config Firmware page, select a New Config Firmware Version and click Upgrade Config.

Note: If the firmware version of your configuration file and panel do not match, only the compatible configuration settings are applied. Deprecated or new settings not recognised by the current panel firmware are ignored.

Full Report

Click Full Report to generate a full report.

User Report

Click User Report to generate a user report.

Calendar Report

Click Calendar Report to generate a calendar report.

Custom Report

Click Custom Report to generate a custom report.

Click Save   to save your changes in SPC Connect Pro.
