The Time Sync multisite operation enables an installer to synchronise the time between SPC Connect and registered hardware (SPC panels and Eventys DVRs). You can synchronise the time manually, or set a schedule for automatic synchronisation.
The operation must be enabled for the relevant site group(s) (see below). Then, to use the operation, go to Operations >
Multisite Operations, select a group of sites (All Sites/Favourite Sites/Site Group) with the operation enabled and navigate to the operation.
The Time Sync operation supports:

Manually or automatically synchronising time between SPC Connect and the hardware in a single site or group of sites.

Keeping the time on DVRs connected to SPC panels synchronised.

Viewing a history of time syncs.

Specifying a time zone for every site in a site group.
Notes:
-
SPC Connect automatically synchronises its time using the Windows Time Service.

If hardware belongs to multiple site group, or is managed by several sources (CMSs), time sync conflicts may arise.

Ensure that every site on which you want to use the operation is assigned to a site group, then enable the Time Sync operation on the Operation Settings page for the relevant site group ( Configuration >
Site Groups > Operation Settings
).
Ensure that each SPC panel in the site(s) uses the command profile Default Commands [SPC Connect] or a similar command profile.

Installers with access to the site group(s) for which the operation is enabled, and with the Time Sync installer right enabled.

To perform the operation on a single site, ensure that the site belongs to a site group with time sync enabled, then from the Operations >
Site Operations page, click
Time Sync for the relevant site.

Set a schedule for automatic time syncs on the site group Operation Settings page:

Site Groups.

Click
Operation Settings for the relevant site group.
The site group Operation Settings page displays.

Ensure that Time Sync is enabled, then select a Time Zone and an Auto Update Mode.

Click Save
